A gourmet gift from the sea. Alaska wild sockeye salmon are caught in the ice cold, clear Alaskan commercial fishery. Fresh caught salmon are sent to a Ketchikan processing facility where they are hand prepared and marinated before smoking. Fresh Alaskan sockeye are hand selected and filleted. Each fillet is carefully prepared and lightly smoked over hardwood smoke. Each salmon fillet is then inspected again for quality, before being sealed in a gold foil retort package. The foil retort pack ensures freshness and a world class flavor. No artificial preservatives or additives added to the smoked salmon product. Smoked Copper River Sockeye Salmon is one of the finest gourmet food gifts that suits any gift giving occasion. Gourmet chefs and cooks know there is a difference in smoked salmon, and that the sockeye salmon from Copper River is known for a rich, soft, delicate flavor.

Every smoked salmon fillet is shelf stable. This means each salmon portion is fully smoked and cooked, the sealed in a vacuum foil package. When the salmon fillets are vacuum sealed in a foil retort package they are then gently cooked in their own juices. This cooking process preserves the smoked salmon naturally, so refrigeration is not needed until the package is opened. Sockeye salmon is prized for its rich full taste and a natural bright red color. Copper River sockeye Salmon are the select premium choice for gourmet fish markets and restaurants.
